Fillongley Provincial Park This small (23 hectares) provincial park is situated on the northeast side of Denman Island. Fillongley is brimming with some of the largest Cedars and Douglas Firs in the region, as well as wildflowers in the summer. Ocean swimming, lounging on sand or pebble beaches and picnicking are all popular activities. An all year campground is in the park. Address: Beadnell Road Denman Island BC

Sandy Island Marine Provincial Park This marine park is set off the northern point of Denman Island. Sandy Island is filled with rare plants and numerous bird species. Kayak enthusiasts may find paddling the waters enjoyable. One can reach Sandy Island Marine park by boat or by foot at low tide (note: guests should be aware of the tides, in order to avoid being stranded in the park).
